Single Tooth Replacement with HA-Coated Tapered Screw-Vent
Step 1: Soft tissue irritation from pressure of removable acrylic stayplate.
Step 2: Reflect the tissue without cutting through the papilla.

Step 3: Initiate implant socket preparation with 2.3mmD internally irrigated twist drill.

Step 4: Check alignment with guide pin.

Step 5: Widen socket with 2.8mmD internally irrigated twist drill.

Step 6: Continue progressive widening with TSV 3D 3.4/2.8mm step drill.

Step 7: Prepare to full 16mm depth using 3.8mmD drill for bone expansion in soft bone. In dense bone, use 4.4mmD/3.8mmD Step Drill for final sizing of socket.

Step 8: Prepared Osteotomy.

Step 9: The screwdriver handle will friction-fit with the square end of the fixture mount, which allows the implant to be withdrawn from the sterile vial. For the mandible, use the friction-fit rachet converter or dill mandrel.

Step 10: The tapered apex of the 4.7mmD Implant is small enough to initiate insertion into undersized socket. The slight taper and the triple lead threads rapidly insert the implant while gently expanding the socket.

Step 11: Align the flat of the fixture mount to the labial to index the position of the implant's hex so that a 2-piece Angled Abutment will be directed to the lingual.

Step 12: The tissue is sutured, but could be left unsutured for a stage-one transfer impression.

Step 13: The hex hole in the top of the transfer is filled with wax prior to making the transfer impression.

Step 14: Inject impression material prior to making the transfer impression.

Step 15: Take the impression.

Step 16: Loosen the center screw of the fixture mount and disengage it from the implant.

Step 17: The internal hex of the 4.7mmD implant is visible through the sutured tissue.

Step 18: Attach a 3mm-long healing collar, 5.5mmD, for this 4.5mmD platform for one-stage healing to establish the emergence profile of the soft tissue. A diameter that is 1 mm wider than the implant platform is considered Standard. Narrow (4.5mmD) and Wide (6.5mmD) profiles are also available.
